Blue Devils Girls Basketball Spring Skills Sessions

WHO: 2nd - 6th Grade Student Athletes in the current school year

• Girls will be split up based on age and skill level within each session

WHEN: Mondays and Thursdays 7:00-8:00, April 8th - May 9th

• 4/8, 4/11, 4/15, 4/18, 4/22, 4/25, 4/29, 5/2, 5/6, 5/9

WHERE: Brunswick Middle School

The skill sessions will be run by the high school coaching staff with the help of some of the high school players. Sessions will focus on individual skill development and teaching team concepts used at the high school level. Each athlete will have the opportunity to receive small group and individualized instruction over the course of the sessions.

We know that spring is a very busy time with crazy schedules. There is no pressure to make it to every single session that your student athlete is signed up for. They will not be assigned to a team or any specific group so attendance will not impact others. That said, we would love to have as many girls as possible at every session!

All proceeds will directly benefit the Brunswick Girls Basketball program.

Campers will have the opportunity to work directly with the camp staff on building basketball fundamentals and skills. Focus on Skill Development of Basic Foundational Core Techniques

Grades K-3: June 10th - June 13th, 9:00am – 11:30am, Brunswick High School
Focus on basic foundational skills in all wrestling positions. Goal is to improve athleticism and technique while having fun.

Grades 4-8: June 10th - June 13th, 12:30pm – 3:00pm, Brunswick High School. 

Focus on basic technique in all areas of wrestling, with an intention of a hard drill session throughout each session. Focus on improvement of scoring from all positions, understanding of hard work and having fun.

Brunswick Middle School Summer Band is a one-week camp (Tuesday - Friday) that will be held June 25-28 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. A final concert will be held on Friday, June 28th at noon either in the BMS Auditorium or BMS Main Gym (TBD). All families and friends are welcome to attend the concert! Throughout the week, 6th-8th grade band students will rehearse music both in sectionals and in large group settings. Indoor/outdoor recess and snack will be provided each day to enjoy some "down time" with friends. Daily prizes will be awarded for both spirit day and musical competitions! We are excited to share this very unique and exciting opportunity with our band students! See you in June!

WHO: Current 6-8 grade students (previous year 2023-2024) with minimum of 1 year band experience.
